Singer and songwriter Ahmed Abiola Akinbiyi (also known as Bella Shmurda) is from Nigeria. Bella Shmurda, also known as Fine Boy Bella to his fans, is known as the new voice of the streets in his native Lagos, Nigeria.
When Bella Shmurda was 16 years old, his mother encouraged him to start home recording his songs. He took the music industry by storm in 2019 with his debut single, “Vision 2020,” a song about how he hustled while attending LASU to support his family. Olamide, the YBNL boss, requested a remix from him because he liked the music.
He released his debut album, “Hypertension,” in 2022. His 2022 popular singles, including “New Born Fela,” “Philo“ with Omah Lay, “So Cold“ with Popcaan, “Contraband,” “Ase,” and “Loose It“ with Simi, were included on the 15-track compilation.
