The 20-year-old man was reported to be the son a popular politician in Sokoto State, Alhaji Shehu Bakauye.
A 20-year-old man, Usman Shehu, has been reportedly murdered by unknown assailants in the Kwanberu, Sokoto.
The incident occurred on the early hours of Saturday, September, 17, 2016, and it has left the police in a tight spot as they make to unravel the mystery behind his death.
According to the Daily Post, the deceased is the son of a prominent politician, Alhaji Shehu Bakauye.

El-Mustapha Sani, the Sokoto State Commissioner of Police confirmed the murder, stating that his men are focused on fishing out the culprits involved.
”The police will do everything humanly possible to unravel the mystery behind the murder of the orphan”, Sani said.
Sharing his family’s expectation concerning the murder, a guardian to the deceased, Alhaji Ahmad Shehu said, “All we want is justice and the fleeing killers of our son should be apprehended and brought to book.”
“We will continue to pray fervently for the repose of his soul and for the Almighty Allah to expose the perpetrators.”
